Cilentoline helps you to find the right apartment in this rather unknown part of Italy. With my Norwegian origins I try to figure out what northern Europeans would like. As far as possible, I meet you at your arrival or not long after, to check that everything is all right and to answer questions. I will be there for you if you have problems (for instance to translate a doctor’s visit) and try to give you information about the town : shops, restaurants, closest travel agent etc... You can call me during your stay in Castellabate if you need help. Cilentoline recommends everyone to have their own private travel insurance and to bring your E 111.

Cilentoline is the intermediary between you and the apartment-owners. When you have paid 30% of the rent, the booking is confirmed. You will then achieve a voucher (to bring with you to

   

Italy) via e-mail with the pre-paid rent, the outstanding rent and the extra’s. The outstanding rent should be paid in cash (credit cards only accepted by the Hotel Lady-bird, the Bed & Breakfast Seaside and the Residence La Spiaggia) to me or the owner (see voucher) no later than the first Monday after arrival (arrival/departure is Saturday). Extra’s (electricity, gas etc.) to be paid on the evening before departure. If you wish to achieve a receipt of the rent, please give notice to Cilentoline so that I can organize this with the owner. Cilentoline personally knows the owners and will pass on wishes that you do not manage to communicate on your own.

• Cancellation less than 45 days before arrival does not give you the right to get back your pre-paid rent.

Cilentoline asks you for a mobile number, how and when you arrive (leave) for the delivery of the keys. People that do not arrive with a car/train, can reserve a taxi from the airport of Naples (120 km) in advance through Cilentoline.

• Equipment in the apartments
If the apartment has a TV or washing machine, it will say so in the description. In most cases, the TV-channels will all be Italians. The kitchen is equipped for “normal” cooking, but remember that these are holiday – apartments : for instance, it is not usual to find wine glasses with a stem. Because of the humid climate Cilentoline recommends to bring a warm pyjama if you come in a cool season.
• Italian ”customs”
Please close all doors and windows, lights and air condition when you go out. It is important to close umbrellas or roll in awnings if there is danger of wind. Remember to respect the “siesta” between 2:00 – 5:00 pm, your neighbour might be sleeping! You should also respect the silence after midnight...
• Deposit
Most owners ask for a deposit. It will be delivered back to you at your departure, minus any extra’s or costs of damages caused by you.
When you leave, the kitchen equipment should be clean and the garbage thrown away at the indicated place. Please always remember that it is your responsibility to leave the apartment in the same condition as you found it, other ways you must pay for the damage.
• Booking-fee
When you get the instructions for how to pay the pre-paid rent, there will be a booking fee of Euro 25,00 added to the bill
